Graduates Share Their Goals and Dreams for 2012

Mercy Ministries would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! We were richly blessed in 2011 to see so many amazing young women have their lives transformed and hope restored. It is so fulfilling to hear testimonies from Mercy graduates from all over the world about what God is doing in each of their lives. We love to hear about their plans for the future as well, so we asked some of our graduates about their goals and dreams for 2012. Here’s what they had to say:

I am very close to completing my very first album. I actually have a duet with the amazing Phil Keaggy called "Mercy's Arms" that I want to be able to use to help Mercy Ministries. You can listen and even see some videos at I have started to work with several Romanian churches here in the U.S. to raise funds for a Romanian orphanage. My husband and I hope to go and spend some time this year with the children there. 2011 has been the most productive year in ministry I have ever had, and I am believing 2012 will be the BEST year yet. - Katie

On May 25, 2012, I am GETTING MARRIED!!! My fiancĂ© is an amazing man of God who sees me the way God sees me. I just finished my bachelor's degree in social work after a long road with lots of interruptions because of all that I was struggling with before Mercy. That in itself was a goal of mine for many years. Graduating was such a sweet moment. I was so excited to fulfill that goal in 2011! I’m planning to go to grad school in 2012! - Erin

One of my goals and dreams for 2012 is to go deeper in my relationship with Christ like never before! I also want to do a better job of finding joy in the midst of trials. Because of Christ, I don’t have to worry and live in fear or be discontent. Another huge goal I will be working towards this year is getting debt free! - Lindsay

My goal for 2012 is to live my life in such a way that I can look back and have no regrets about the choices I make. I am excited to see what God has planned for this coming year! - Kelly

My goals for 2012 are to sell our house, keep my mind and body healthy, finish another year of college and to be a good mom and wife! - Ashley

One of my dreams for 2012 is for my new organization to really take off. It’s called Emerging Generations. We are educating, empowering and informing young voters. We make videos about who is voting and what their views are. I would love to see our videos in schools and in youth groups throughout our nation. I am so thankful the Lord has given me a second chance in life so that I can make a difference in the world! - Hannah

We at Mercy Ministries hope 2012 is your best year yet. Thank you for your faithful support of Mercy Ministries and your ongoing prayers on our behalf. We are so excited about all that God has in store for this New Year and for all the lives that will be touched through this life-changing ministry!
