Time to Sign Up to Run For Mercy!

Serious runners, mothers with strollers, families and even dogs will be hitting the pavement this fall to Run for Mercy! Since 2008, Mercy has been represented in more than 15 cities, with thousands of participants in the Run for Mercy 5K and Family Walk events as well as established marathons across the country. Mercy Ministries’ Christ-centered residential program is completely free of charge to the young women who come to Mercy for help. Our support comes from generous individuals, businesses and ministries who partner with us. So, when you Run for Mercy, you are making a way for more young women to get the help they desperately need, completely free of charge!

Run for Mercy isn’t just for serious runners. Kids of all ages can participate in the Fun Run or enjoy face painting and free treats in the Kids Carnival Zone!

Adults can run or walk as an individual or with a team, and if you can’t make it to a race, you can even participate as a virtual runner! Here’s what some of last year’s participants had to say about Run for Mercy:

“I run in a lot of 5Ks around the city, and this was one of the most well done races I have ever been in! It was really cool knowing that I was running for such a great cause, too.” – Brian

“WOW! It really inspired me to keep going to see all the signs reminding me of why I was doing this along the way…my favorite one reminded me that my support was helping to restore a young woman’s hope.” – Jennifer

Right now is the time to get involved with a Run for Mercy event near you! Registration is now open for all races online at Be sure to sign up for one of our upcoming events:
