Mercy Ministries Celebrates Water Baptism of 23 Residents!!!

“For years, medical professionals spoke death over me and said there was no hope, and I had no chance of freedom. This baptism is symbolic that with God, truly all things are possible. It is possible to walk in freedom in Christ.” - Mercy Resident

It was a wonderful week of celebration as 23 Mercy residents demonstrated their commitment to Christ through baptism! Mercy Program Director, Cheryl Bangs, and Pastor Greg Farrington of Sunset Christian Center were honored to baptize 17 residents from the California home. In Monroe, Louisiana, six more residents were baptized by Mercy Executive Director of Program Operations, Margaret Troquille. Each amazing young woman testified to the freedom and healing that comes from burying the past and being made new in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Check out this video of these amazing young women of faith being baptized:

With the help of faithful supporters who are the lifeline of Mercy Ministries, we are able to give hurting young women the help they so desperately need. For more information about how you can be a part of seeing lives transformed and hope restored, go to
