Mercy Ministries Honors Those Who Fought For Our Freedom

On this Memorial Day, all of us at Mercy Ministries would like to honor the brave Americans who have given their lives fighting for freedom. We are also reminded of the family members who grieve the loss of their loved ones today. We are so grateful for those who have paid such a high price for our freedom and for those who currently serve in the military so that we may remain free!

Founding Board Member, Jessie McCormick, sponsored the classroom in the 
Nashville Mercy home. This plaque is on the wall in memory of her son, Wayne, 
who gave his life in the Vietnam War.

We encourage everyone to observe the National Moment of Remembrance at 3:00 PM today by pausing to think about the great sacrifice of so many courageous Americans and their families. We pray you have a blessed holiday weekend.

God, lift the hearts of those for whom this holiday is a painful memory. We remember with compassion those who have died serving their countries.
