Monarch Landscaping and Volunteers Bless Mercy Ministries

"I began mowing lawns for neighbors and friends of the family as soon as my dad would let me push a mower," said Mercy Ministries supporter, Adam Chesney. Adam graduated from mowing lawns for neighbors to owning Monarch Landscaping Company with his wife, Lee. We are excited to share that the Chesneys are generously donating their premium landscaping services to keep the grounds of our Nashville home looking beautiful!

In preparation for our new landscape design, a group of men recently came to the Nashville home and corporate offices to clean up brush, pull weeds and trim back bushes. Steve Singleton, the husband of Mercy Ministries Executive Director, Christy Singleton, brought the men from his Bible study out on a cold and gray Saturday to prepare the way. Here’s what Steve had to say about donating his time to help Mercy Ministries:

“Our family is truly honored to be a part of the work of Mercy Ministries. We participate in many events and volunteer opportunities and are always blessed by the experience. I was glad to help out this weekend and grateful for the opportunity to show the men in my Bible study a little of what Mercy is doing to help these hurting young women.”

We want to say a huge thank you to Monarch Landscaping for the incredibly generous donation of their services. Thank you also to all the men who came out to prepare our grounds for a beautiful new landscape design. It is such a blessing when someone who is touched by Mercy uses their gifts, time and resources to bless our staff and residents.
