Nashville Residents Get Pampered

Nashville Resident, Brittany
The residents at Mercy Ministries work hard to face their issues head on, but every now and then, a special “Girl’s Night” is in order. Shelayne McDaniel, the State Director of One Heart Ministries, recently brought a team from Northridge Church to bless the Nashville residents with haircuts and cookie baking! These women were so generous and gave more time than originally planned to make sure everyone who wanted a haircut received one. The girls felt special and beautiful with their new styles and loved hanging out with the ladies from Northridge. It was a great night to relax and enjoy some food and fellowship. Here’s what some of the residents had to say about this special treat:

Getting my hair done was pretty awesome. She did such an amazing job! I absolutely love my new hairstyle. It really matches my personality! - Brittany (pictured above)

It was so much fun and they did an awesome job. It was great to be pampered and feel beautiful again. - Jocelyn

I am so grateful that these women devoted time to spend with us baking cookies and cutting our hair! They were so friendly and the whole event was great! - Crystal

That was so much fun. I really enjoyed getting my hair cut and it looks amazing. I love it! The women who came were so nice and sweet and I had a lot of fun talking to them. I hope they come again! - Ashley

Special thanks to Shelayne McDaniel and the team from Northridge Church. You have been awesome friends and supporters of Mercy Ministries and we are so grateful for all the creative ways you have blessed our residents!
