Mercy Ministries Canada Celebrates First Graduation!!!

Sonja, Nancy, and Jorgia
It was a dream come true. Last summer, the Mercy Ministries Canada home opened its doors, and 20 hurting young girls started their journey to freedom and transformation. This week, the house was packed with family and friends as they celebrated the first Mercy Ministries Canada graduation! Two amazing young ladies, Sonja and Jorgia, have had their lives and dreams restored! Both girls are very excited about the future and plan to dedicate their lives to helping other young women overcome the same issues that they themselves have overcome.

Founder and President of Mercy Ministries, Nancy Alcorn, was there to surprise them and celebrate with staff, family and friends. She wrote about the special day on her blog HERE. Check out these photos from this landmark day:

Over the years, so many have come alongside Mercy Ministries Canada to give of their prayers, time, energy and resources. Now that the home is open and fully operational, your continued faithfulness has made graduations like these possible.

A special shout out to Pastors John and Helen Burns for having the heart and vision to start a Mercy home in Canada, and to Nicola Bartel for being the great leader she is as the Executive Director and overseer of all Canada staff. Congratulations everyone!
