Mercy Ministries Residents Enjoy Inauguration Festivities

Residents and staff from our Nashville home were honored to be invited to some special events this weekend, celebrating the inaugural of Governor-Elect Bill Haslam as Tennessee’s 49th governor. On Friday night, the girls attended the “All Together Now” concert at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. They had a great time singing along with award-winning Nashville recording artists Sara Evans, Diamond Rio and Bo Bice.

The girls continued the celebration on Saturday at the Inaugural Parade, wearing “Mercy pink” feather boas as they marched and waved to the crowd.

It was great to see a little bit of Downtown Nashville. I enjoyed getting to just hang out with the other girls and have a good time. - Amanda
