Financial Peace University Gives to Mercy Ministries

Each year, the employees at Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU) have an annual “Play Day.” This is a day set aside for the leadership of FPU to give back to its employees. They show their appreciation by providing a wonderful meal, entertainment and lots of fun activities. This year, those same employees decided that they wanted to give instead of receive. They turned their “Play Day” into a day of service by choosing five organizations and requesting a wish list from each.

Last Friday, a group of 15 employees from Financial Peace University came and toured the Nashville home. At the end of their tour, they presented the Nashville residents with canvases for their art classes, an outdoor umbrella for the patio, Target gift cards for each of the girls, and a 42” flat screen television for the classroom!

All of the residents go through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University program while at Mercy and receive a lifetime membership kit when they graduate. Check out the video below of the girls receiving these amazing gifts and talking about what they’ve learned from Dave Ramsey’s program.
