Friends of Mercy Ministries Brunch in Dallas

1Mercy Ministries hosted a Friends of Mercy Brunch at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving, TX, just outside of Dallas. We had over 100 friends and supporters join us for this event that raised awareness and $12,000. Sarah and Tyler Vaughn led guests in worship and everyone had a chance to hear life-transforming testimonies from Monroe graduate, Kim, who recently won the title, Miss Congeniality, in the Miss Oklahoma pageant and St. Louis graduate, Bethany, who is finishing Veterinary school at Texas A&M University.

Then, Founder and President of Mercy Ministries, Nancy Alcorn, shared the history and vision of the ministry. Nancy was joined by long time Mercy supporters, Doug and Lea Witt who opened the event with prayer and Suzanne Newell followed by clearly defining how to get more involved in supporting Mercy Ministries and the young women we serve.

We would like to thank Darla Denton for creating the gorgeous floral arrangements. And a big thanks to Jimmy and Kirie James for helping to sponsor this event.

This brunch was a great success! We are so thankful to our friends and ministry partners everywhere who have joined with us in reaching hurting young women with the unconditional love and life-transforming power of Christ. Your commitment to Mercy gives hope with eternal value to the girls within our reach.
