Merry Mercy Christmas Benefit – Plans Underway!!

Last Friday, Mercy Ministries Nashville hosted a Merry Mercy Christmas Benefit Pre-Event Luncheon to begin to raise community support and awareness for our annual Christmas Benefit and Silent Auction coming up on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville. The Merry Mercy Christmas fundraiser began as a small luncheon in 2007, and this year, to accommodate the growing response, it is being planned as a large dinner for over 300 friends and ministry supporters. Now, one of the biggest fundraising events of the year, this event will have entertainment provided by musical guests’ Tammy Trent, Jonny Lang and the Tommy Sims All-star band!

Approximately 30 guests were joined by Event Chair, Marie Parks and her husband Bob of Bob Parks Reality who sponsored the pre-event luncheon. Guests had the opportunity to learn how they can participate in this key fundraising event and connect with other caring friends of the ministry. Mercy Ministries’ Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn, shared about the impact of giving and explained how donations literally save lives. Everyone had a chance to hear life-transforming testimonies from Bethany and Jessica, two current Nashville residents.

We are so thankful to our friends and partners who are prayerfully considering their participation at the December Merry Mercy Benefit. For more information about table sponsorship, please email Heather Robinson at hrobinson@mercyministries.com.

Artists and Live Auction items are being updated regularly. To learn more about the Merry Mercy Christmas Benefit and Silent Auction and find out about some of the exciting live auction items like the Villa Paradise in Anguilla, British West Indies, visit www.merrymercychristmas.com.
